Loew celebrates 100th victory

Germany coach Joachim Loew celebrated the 100th victory as coach of the German soccer team. The record was collected thanks to the victory against Cameroon in the Confederations Cup in Russia. Loew is the leader of the German team with 150 games and has always reached at least the semifinals of each tournament in the last decade.

Khamenei prays for the end of Ramadan

The Supreme Iranian leadership has presided over the prayer of Al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan's month. The celebration was held in a mosque in Tehran. «The Islamic world must clearly support the people of Yemen and denounce the oppressors they attacked during the sacred month of Ramadan,» said Khamenei.

Bloody London, flowers and messages: the London lament

Just past the areas affected by the attacks and closed to the public to allow police relief, the first flowers and messages appeared to the victims of the London attacks. The attack on London Bridge, costing at least 7 people and causing 48 injured, some of which are in serious condition, is the third terrorist attack in less than three months.

The Pope's vigil at the sanctuary of Fatima

Pope Francis opened the evening vigil at Fatima with the rite of the blessing of candles, among thousands of faithful who waited for hours in front of the Marian shrine. The Pope's trip to Portugal ends on the day of Saturday, May 13, the anniversary of the first of the six apparitions of Our Lady that the three Pastorelli of Fatima had 100 years ago.
